Youth leisure and socialization Tallinn (Estonia) 2002

Nel corso del progetto “Socializzazione e tempo libero: gruppi di giovani e le loro attività” due gruppi di partecipanti, italiani ed estoni, hanno potuto concretamente approfondire la conoscenza dei modi in cui i giovani nelle loro nazioni socializzano, vivono il rapporto tra individuo e gruppo di pari e, soprattutto, come passano il loro tempo libero. Durante le attività sono stati visitati tre Centri di aggregazione giovanile e alcuni luoghi di villeggiatura per giovani. Fra i temi dello scambio vi era in particolare la consapevolezza europea affrontato tramite giochi e dibattiti. Un ulteriore tema è stato quello delle politiche giovanili nei rispettivi Paesi, affrontate con un metodo di apprendimento interculturale e organizzate con una cura particolare per la partecipazione dei giovani nella progettazione e nella gestione dello scambio.

During the project “Youth leisure and socialization: groups of young people and their activities” two groups of participants, Italian and Estonian, could actually examine the ways in which young people socialize in their respective nations, living the relationship between individual and peer group and, more important, how they spend their free time. During the activities three centers where youngsters meet were visited together with some resort places for young people. Among the themes of the exchange was in particuklar included European awareness, addressed through games and debates. An added theme was Youth Policies in the respective countries, faced with a method of intercultural learning and organized with special attention to young people’s participation in the design and management of the youth exchange.
